SFC is proud to annouce the accomplishments of several 2009 - 2010 Fall Season teams.
U16 SWEEP!SFC U16 Girls Pegasus Coastal Cup Champions! Surrey Pegasus U16 girls celebrate a successful season. After winning the league with 53 points and only one loss, they defeated arch rivals Tsawwassen Triple Threat in a convincing 5-1 victory to win the Coastal Cup. Coach Gary Mason was very pleased with his team's performance during both league and cup play. Surrey faced tough qualifying games against Upper Vancouver Island (1-0) and Cliff Avenue (2-1 on penalties). Winning the Coastal Cup puts the team one step closer to competing at the Nationals in October. Coach Gary knew that his squad was highly motivated for the final and they did not disappoint with all players giving their utmost best. Brittany Ambrose scored a hat-trick and was named MVP, other goals scored by Jasmine Grewal and Nav Samra.
Surrey Youth Whalley Selects U16 Boys Coastal Cup Champions! On Sunday, April 25 at Minoru Park Stadium in Richmond the Surrey Selects overcame Richmond United in the championship game of the Coastal Cup Finals by virtue of a narrow 1-0 victory. The game between the two top squads lived up to expectations as both teams battled for the go ahead goal. The Selects scored what proved to be the game winning goal at the 15 minute mark of the first half, a training ground set piece set up by Ronnie Johal & finished by Harpreet Samra. Samra also went on to win a “Man of the Match Honor”.

CLASSIC CUP VICTORYSFC's U14 Girls Ravens became Classic Cup Champions with a 2 - 1 win over the Abbotsford Strikers. Manu Bopanrai was named the team's Most Valuable Player and the team claimed the title of Most Sportsmanlike Team. Well done girls!
